Product Description
The Avon CSCF50 Filter is a canister designed for the
removal of riot control agents and tear gases including CS,
CN, and OC pepper spray, as well as dusts, mists, fumes,
biological agents (bacteria, virus, fungal spores, etc.) and
radioactive dusts. The unique conformal shape provides a
low profile close fit with the mask.
DESCRIPTION
Contruction Materials
The canister body is made of a modified polyphenylene
ether-polystyrene blend (PPE&PS), which is a high quality
engineering construction polymer. It provides a very robust
product which is extremely durable against shock and impact
and contaminants in operational use. The canister body is
black in color and has a matte finish to reduce reflection.
The P100 high efficiency filter element is made of PTFE, PET/
PE. A double layer of carbon cloth is used to remove riot
control agents that may pass through the particulate filter as
vapor.
The CSCF50 is entirely non-ferrous and non-magnetic.
EFFECTIVENESS
The CSCF50 provides protection from CS, CN, and OC pepper
spray. A HEPA particulate filter element is incorporated,
ensuring effective performance against dusts, mists, fumes,
biological agents (bacteria, virus, fungal spores etc), and
radioactive dusts.
